Description

The Reviver has always been a best seller and customer favorite, and I saw a beautiful opportunity to make some modifications to create a second version for slightly different conditions and utility. The V2 Reviver does NOT replace the original Reviver! It's a modified version designed to complement the original. The original Reviver is the true ultimate performance groveler designed to excel in the smallest shortboardable/grovelable surf possible, and the V2 Reviver has a bit more utility built in for surfing above groveling, increasing the performance and handling into the upper limits of the Reviver - which came from customer demand from loving the board so much and wanting to surf it all the time! You'll surf the V2 Reviver about one inch longer than your original Reviver, as it's a touch narrower, distributing the volume over a slightly longer length, giving a bit more rail line and nose to tail stability. The other significant changes are an altered rocker and tail shape. On the V2 Reviver you'll find extra nose flip and a touch of added tail rocker added compared to the original Reviver, along with a slightly more pulled tail with a squashier shape to it. Other than those changes, it's still very much deliberately the Reviver at heart, keeping the signature super deep double concave throughout, hidden bevelled rails (and slightly less foam in the rail) for extra volume where you need it and removed where you don't - plus the responsiveness of the flat deck and smooth volume distribution gradient to a rail you can drive and sink. The V2 Reviver paddles and catches waves with unreal ease, races waves, and turns on a dime - all while handling those small pitchy and hollow beach break sections. I absolutely could not do without a Reviver and/or V2 Reviver in my personal quiver. They are ALWAYS with me when I check the surf if it's not barreling storm swell.

Chris G. - Point Pleasant, NJ - 5'5 V2 Reviver in FocusFlex Tech

"I love this board! It's literally the easiest board I have ever ridden. It catches waves so easily that it makes you lazy. Even though it's a small wave board it's super nimble and you can feel the FocusFlex flexing when you lean hard and crank a bottom turn. Since I've picked it up I literally don't do a surf check without bringing this board in the car. A MUST HAVE for any East Coast surfer!!"
