Description

The Thresher is an asymmetrical performance hybrid designed to improve your heelside game for critical and vertical in-the-pocket to tight shoulder surfing in medium to sizeable bowly, punchy, hollow surf. The toe side is Turbo Ripper & Jet inspired with a straighter and longer rail line, while the heel side is shorter and curvier with a bump-to-wing for added bite. The rail shapes, rail rockers and single-to-double bottom contours are also different on the toe and heel sides to better accommodate for the difference in our toe and heel side surfing.

Since the Thresher is designed for beach break, it's designed with a quad on both the toes and heels. Order your Thresher with micro channels off the trailing edges of the fins or full double channels for more grip/hold, control and drive on the toe side. You can also order it as twin/twin keel on the toe side for a looser feel. The heel side is designed exclusively as a quad for the aforementioned reasons, although if you'd like to experiment with any different fin setups or shape modifications, we're game to build it!

"Hands down my favorite board in my quiver for waves ranging from stomach high to those softer overhead days. It drives down the line very smoothly and transitions perfectly from rail to rail while cutting back into the pocket. It's unlike any other board out there ad feels super lively under your feet on the front sude and even more responsive on the backside. For sure a must have board to add to your quiver."
