Why I Ride for DaveySKY Surfboards
I like and want to ride the best surfboards available. Over 30 years ago my grandmother bought me a foam board from a corner store on the Seaside Heights Boulevard and surfing became my obsession. What started as a summer activity soon became a year round activity. Over the years I’d make notes on the calendar about my surf sessions and conditions. Flash forward a decade and I eventually began making my own surfboards. That’s when I met Davey and he shared some board building expertise. It didn’t take long for me to realize he built superior boards and I wanted one. Being on his team has allowed me to experience many of his designs, leading me to better understand the different attributes and riding styles a particular model taps into.


Words of Advice
Try different types of boards if you can. Longer lengths, wider tails, fuller nose, for example may be key to helping you surf more efficiently.
